The brooch is 4th cent BC-3rd BC survived quite well considering. The Groat is as found and in ID. Another selection of musket/pistol shot. A debased Denarius. Some really battered hammered. The Jetton is in fair condition and a collection of lead items..... ;)

Well found Paul. Your fields are very user friendly, free draining and giving, very giving ::) That’s a lovely Jeton and the thimble must have been a good quality one to have survived so well. I especially like the buttons though. I'll catch it on live video. It's not untill after dinner I reckon. Love the brooch. It's odd that on our Roman site we don't find brooches of any description, only coins. Had a look at the auction site for Thursday and your coin is definitely the 'star of the show'. We have several Industrial Plants in our area, including oil refineries which have been here since the sixties. I often wonder does this contribute to the poor condition of finds, especially Bronze. I have several Roman Brooches but all are in badly corroded condition.
