Title: Ceramic shards identifications Post by: spaceonwhite on September 23, 2018, 06:44:49 PM Whilst out detecting, I regularly come across broken ceramic shards, which I also like to collect as I think some can be really quite beautiful and often wonder their age. Therefore, I wondered if anyone knows of any book/online resources for identifying them. I realise there isn't going to be an exhaustive resource due to the many local ceramic makers that would have been across Britain, but wondered if there would have been general styles during specific periods that would help identify ages.
