Well, it's a long cross of the London mint - but without knowing what the other side is, it's harder to pin it down than saying it's probably 14th century

Well found Alun. Not my strong point but it’s definately one of the Edwards. Which one ??
I never know, even when I’m looking at a whole one. ::). That’s got a strange broken edge almost looks like it’s been bent back and forth till it broke, rather than a chop cut.
Nice find though. They alll count.
