Found this Fossil on the dried up LLyn on Res,

The Guy next door said it might be Coral.

It is indeed a coral fossil Phil. A nice chunk of it as well.
You can often find very small bits as you’re walking along pebbly stretches so that’s a nice find.

Well the Res was once a village, farms and pubs but I wasnt expecting much due to silting . but found a few farming tools, enough lead to sink a ship and modern stuff left by fishermen.

The reason i wanted to do it was the Bridge and road either side was at its original level.
There must be something there but there was an huge area to cover.
They,ve emptied Beacons and Cantref "Res,s" (Is that even a word ?) Into Lwyn-on now so its filling fast,

What i took out of the day was, 1st time onland with the T2 and was very impressed, with its super fast recovery and depth, exactly like my old F75.

Sounds a bit like my NOX  ;D

Only down side, I’ve only dug junk so far  :'(
