We are having a talk by our guest speaker Jan Scrine. This months topic is the Highways and Waymarkers in the Three counties. The development of roads from prehistoric tracks to the turnpike era. And how people marked the ways . With illustrations from Herefordshire, Worcestershire and South Gloucestershire. There will be a small admission fee to cover her costs, £3 for Hmdc members and £5 for non members. Tea / coffee and biscuits will be provided (free) + the rowing club bar (not free >:() The meeting starts 7pm at Hereford Rowing Club, 37 Greyfriars Ave, Hereford HR4 0BE.
