Title: Newbie from Swansea
Post by: Fraxinus on July 07, 2018, 10:51:49 AM
Hi All,
Any advice on where to detecting in Swansea. I have an Etrac and have been learning machine on local beach. I think I'm already an expert on pull tabs, bottle tops and endless melted aluminium.
I would like to now try out the M.D on land and know I would need permission. Is there any free land I can test out machine without upsetting any one. I would like to join a local club when I feel more confident.  Cheers All.

hi mate and welcome  I thought you might want to take a look at celtic searchers detecting site they are based in Llanelli and hold rallies every two weeks weather permitting.     it costs  £7.00 for each rally £2.00 of which goes to McMillan nurses charity ,  its pay on the day,   there is NO joining fee or yearly membership fee,  like other clubs,
no nicknames allowed use your own name to join, they are a very friendly bunch of guys and gals of all ages,  check them out yourself and happy hunting.

They meet again on the 18th at the Coopers Arms.

Best of luck and happy hunting.
