Title: Any ideas anyone?

Found this on farm land on Monday, itís slightly thicker than a pound coin and had a D XXX on one side, I canít make out the other side. Could it be a weight?
Iíve tried searching but no luck.

A coin weight for 30 pence or half a crown of Charles or James.....nice find. Paul.

Oooh where there are coin weights it imply there were also the relevant coins to be weighed!
