in addition to looking at where we could possible have rallies, I've also been trying to think of ways of improving my 'hit' rate in getting permissions - I've managed my first two new permissions for about 5 years this year, but also had a fair few rejections. One of the ideas that regularly comes up, but I haven't done anything about yet, is getting a detecting business card. I think that I'd like to do this - and was wondering - for those of you more proactive than me - what kind of things / layout design / background have other people used for their detecting business cards to leave with landowners - even if they have said 'no' to you detecting?
