Yep - I have seen plenty of the triangle Eddy hammered coins found on our rallies. Steve King, Cheffy and TaffLaff have all definately found one.

I haven't found any Irish hammered, but I've found lots of Georgian Irish coinage.

Oldest I've found myself was a Charles II Irish halfpennies, but also had a cast W&M halfpenny,  George I 'woods halfpenny', George II farthing and lots of the George III stuff. Had the occasional 19th century farthing token as well.

No gunmoney as yet, but I've seen it found on Welsh rallies.

I have found just the one Irish hammered in thirty five years of detecting. It was a penny of Edward 1 (1272 - 1307) and found in The Vale. It was identified by The Doc at the time as being Waterford mint.

I remember now that there was one found on the farm I am on - by Heather - must be about 9 years ago as I haven't seen her on the farm for 8 years or so. She uploaded the images here at the time (before selling the coin on eBay) - it was an Edward I Dublin mint issue - again in the vale.

Here's the post that mentions it:-

There should be some pictures but I'm getting the 'check your third party photo provider'......on page two it identifies the type more correctly.
