Title: mystery bronze (?) dragon item Post by: sharkey on November 19, 2017, 04:18:17 PM hi all, i found this item today. i think its bronze but could be wrong. it appears to have a dragon in the design, and on the reverse the dipped part is silver coloured (pics don't show this too well). would appreciate any ideas, thanks in advance

It looks like part of an Irish pennanular brooch I found some years ago. National Museum of Wales now have it and it was classed as dark ages brooch at I think 7-800 ad. I have the pics in my documents folder but have forgotten how to post them on here. Any help to do so would be appreciated. Age takes no prisoners I,m afraid. It is definitely a Flo item.
