Title: Is this a good deal?
Post by: rainyday on November 06, 2017, 08:20:56 AM
I have got chance to swap my safari plus £550 for an almost new ctx.
My safari comes with a detech ultimate coil plus the original coil.
Full set of covers and a rechargeable battery plus the normal battery pod.
Is this a good deal!
Thanks
Dean

Thanks, I’m in two mind tbh, I was waiting for the new equinox to come out and see what that was like.
The ctx apparently is 3 months old and has been used about 4 times.
Thanks
Dean

I'd rip the guys arm off for that. Best detector out there I've had a ctx since it came out

Hemm!!....yes it seems to be a very good deal indeed !!...but sometimes if it seems to be too good to be true, then Unfortunately sometimes it is !!..and "It is paid for isn't it ..?
But then again i'm a born sceptic !!

The guy says he has receipts for it, I'll have a look at it and take it from there.
Thanks

Clearly rainyday you've mastered the safari and fancy the CTX, I just wondered do you search beaches or arable? The CTX can definantly get results on the beach, but as has already been pointed out the CTX is heavy, that there's no doubt even compared to the Safari.  ;)

Hi, I search both, yes I’ve got he drop on the safari now. And to be honest the weight thing is something that is concerning me.  I find the safari heavy enough although I do use a harness.

If your sure about the ctx owner, I would go for it, or as a precaution ask for a serial nos and check it out with minelab . ???

the ctx weighs in at 5-1lbs c/w standard 11" pro coil attached.although well balanced never the less the weight of 5-1lbs maybe an issue for some.
