Title: Any ideas about this old dog?
Post by: rainyday on November 04, 2017, 02:54:41 PM
Found this in the week, it’s quite heavy and appears to have been painted at some point, possibly painted bronze?

Your pics are sooo big it’s hard to get an overall idea about it. It could have been in a fire from what I can see.
Can you get a smaller pic ?

Open to speculation but my thought is 1900’s cast brass, Lurcher/Labrador and has been in a fire.
Brings to mind memories of ‘shadow boxes’ and lots of dusting.  ::)
