Me and Ron hit the fields again this weekend and found a few bits and pieces. The weather was favourable with a slight breeze which kept the temperature down for our walk about. The leaves were falling around us whilst the deer and pheasants seemed to be enjoying the late autumn sunshine. Ron found a nice what looks like a Hadrian Denarius and a possible annular/ring shaped brooch. He'll probably add his photos later, after he's cleaned them up. I had a bit of a variety of finds which included a nice buckle, a few Roman grots, a Vicky sixpence, a Tetbury Farthing token of 1665, a trade weight, a white metal bracelet, a few other Georgie pennies and farthings and lots of the usual buttons and scrap. All-in-all an enjoyable weekend with a few more finds to add to our collections. Until the next time!! Happy Digging!! Tom.
