We have a few spaces left for our planned talk by Grunal Moneta, the world renowned expert on hammered coins and advisor to the Bristish Museum, on Hammered coins, their history & Production, here in Hereford on 23/11/17. We therefore invite anyone on DW to book their place and come along. There will also be a practical demonstration and there should be a chance to actually hammer your own coin to take home as a momento. If you are interested and want to attend please PM me (preferred method) or reply in this thread. Tickets are £7.50, a buffet is included in this price and the bar will be open. I will only be taking bookings until 13/11/17 at the latest and may have to close the book early if we fill all places. So please contact me now to reserve a seat. Places are limited and your place is not confirmed until we notify you. Some DW members have been to this talk before and can testify how interesting it is (Mrs. Steptoe, you are welcome to come again lol). Please see the attached poster for full details. You must reserve you ticket as we need to know numbers for catering.
