I thought that I would put up a couple of pictures of the new stand I recently purchased for my MAKRO "racer" detector...as you can see it certainly keeps the electrics out of the wet and mud,and perhaps even more important,out of the very delicate and vulnerable electonic circuitry . Cheap to purchase,easy to install...peace of mind(Especially with Winter in mind) I t can EASILY be adapted to suit most metal detectors, if the diameter of your detectors shaft is smaller do as I did just make up the "slight" diameter difference by rapping round some insulation tape...sorted !!
