I have just retired and moved to mid Wales. Are there any clubs around mid Wales that would welcome a complete novice I have bags of enthusiasm but little knowledge or even someone who wants some company whilst detecting.The wife's not keen so no point taking her. It is a truly great way to enhance your Detecting experience to even greater heights. Here are some really well informed guys and gals always willing to answer all your metal detecting queries. And don't ever worry about asking even the most basic of Detecting related questions,after all we all had to start at the beginning . I am sorry that I don't live nearer you, Actually live in West Wales,but I'm sure that someone on the forum will be able to suggest something. Anyway,good luck,and I look forward to seeing all your finds on the forum. P.S:What detector have you got...or intend to get ? I'm just awaiting a Fisher and then watch this space...cant wait to get started. Its a pity there aren't any clubs nearer to Mid Wales.
