Isn't it funny how when things like this are found it tends to make people show their shall we say not best side. I like the bit where the fella is detecting around the area whilst they are excavating. The Whole area should have been a no go for anyone with a detector whilst the excavation was going on and been cordoned off. A stunning find though.

And with regards to the "who found what squabble!!"...well there are obviously some benefits to being a "lone wolf" detectorist ::) Mind you I wouldn't mind a bit a detecting company from time to time...any offers ?
