Title: Medieval Finds
Post by: celticspikey on July 02, 2017, 02:47:06 PM
Here's a few finds from the pasture field on Friday that produced the religious mount. I couldn't find the other half of the mirror case which is a shame as it has a nice decoration. The Annular brooch came up deep, but not as deep as the large buckle as you can see in the picture at least 4" deeper than the probe....good old Deus... ;)

Another set of really nicely preserved artefacts (I think you do a great job of gently cleaning your finds)

I've got an annular brooch like the one on the left, which was found (not by me) in Herefordshire - they're nice sold items :)

It's not you selling a few siliqua on ebay at the moment (58spikey)?
