It s a cut half hammerd coin.....possibly a henry ii......not a lot to go on.......but I bet the doc will know ;)

Not sure nobby.

To me, it looks possibly Norman period, maybe Stephen or Henry I, but can we have a better picture please monkeyman?

Hmm, yes I can see it a little better now. As nobby said, Henry II, a cut half 'Tealby' penny.
