Pretty certain it is not a clog clasp. Some kind of spring mechanism in it. Finely decorated with floral designs and traces of gold gilding on it. Mark Lodwick (FLO National Museum Wales) does not even know what it is ! Title: Re: Any idea what this is please? I think it could be a braces, garter or suspender clip. Which would account for the guilding. Either way it looks machine made so not too old. Title: Re: Any idea what this is please?
