My name is Aled roberts I'm 26 from rhuddlan(north wales) I've served 5 years in the army of which I've travelled the world and done 2 tours of Afghanistan of which I used a valon metal detector searching for bombs ;) I've had my detector around two years now but have only just started to use it properly as a hobby. In the last few weeks I've gone from being an complete ametuer to finally unearthing history much of which goes to georgian times. I'm sure it out be very long before you start showing off your interesting finds,and I look forward to seeing them,and well you have a headstart on the most of us....There arnt many of us that could spot an IED..!!!!.... As the year goes on I will invest in a more expensive detector and the eurotek will become my spare but as for finds I really can't complain.I'm lucky enough yo have some good permissions aswel :)
