the use of high discrimination has virtually no effect on depth (from my own tests) but removes the coke and rubbish signals to make it a quiet and deadly programme, the two tones keeps everything really simple to increase depth (on hard pasture) I keep an identical adjacent programme at 12Khz , also on quiet soils reducing recovery speed right down to 0 makes a huge difference on depth. i also like running sensitivity as high as possible and use tracking ground balance. since using this programme my finds rate has gone up dramatically. I did like the Deus I had, but didn't want to pay big bucks for the 11" coil, so it had to go. |
