Hi hope this is the right place for this information but I have a g 2 tecknetices well I've tried it on after ground balancing 30 and 37 also had it on nought then also on 60 as some people say to do on u tube . I've done all these in the correct way and sill can't find anything so is it me not walking over it unlucky or r their more settings that I could put in on it thanks sinky.

Have you tried the detector on items you can see (like coins and rings)? It's worth testing it with visible objects first.

If the G2 is as much like the T2 (which I used to own) then ground balancing was a matter of pulling a switch on the underside and pumping the detector up and down (from about 6" or so to the ground and so on) until the noise went away.

After that I chose 2+ tones, sensitivity until It was noisy and then notched back a bit, and discrim on 6 - hot rocks and the like came out at around 35 or so.

Found a lot of stuff with it :)

Ok thanks mate will try what you said and will let you know how I get on with it ta again..
