Title: First ever metal detecting session! Button find Post by: spaceonwhite on September 25, 2016, 12:07:35 PM Had my first ever metal detecting session this morning, in north Cardiff. Great fun and found this button. Researching online hasn't helped me age it. Would any of you knowledgable folk have any ideas?

Keep detecting and keep posting your finds. I can guarantee if you stick at it you will find Roman and Medieval finds.
I am a Cardiff lad myself and had some outstanding finds only ten minutes from home. It's all still out there waiting for you to discover it. Went out and had my second session the other day and found my first coin but it's too corroded to tell what it is, but still very exciting ;D
