My bits from today. The small battered hammered looks like an Edward 1 you can just make out half of the portrait and the outline of some pellets on the reverse. The other hammered Edward 1 ?, I think. Late in the day found the broken fibula, all in all a thoroughly enjoyable day. Thank you Chris for arranging. here is the roman brooch found by Paul and Jims mate (Si?). its a corker still with moving pin! is there anyone out there who could maybe tell us more about it? he was over the moon when he found it, well done ! 8) my finds include 2 patterned whorls, 1921 shilling, tiniest horse brass ive ever found (does that make it a pony brass?) coinage ranging from william 3rd (farthing) to the 1920's, and Chris's lipstick. thanks as always to Chris for arranging it, and hope to be at Rhyl library for some recording on Thursday. sharkey Title: Re: My best from today Post by: MarcB on August 28, 2016, 11:19:31 PM Was a great day.
