Title: Big disappointment !! Post by: dingdong on July 18, 2016, 07:15:21 PM Well all,i had a preliminary report back from the FLO today regarding what I thought was a silver ingot...!!!... WELL !!its in all probability a piece of Tin alloy,it could still be very,very old and MAY have been used in he making of bronze !!
What I still can't understand is that when the initial "spit&foil" test was done there was a distinct smell of rotten eggs......very disappointed to say the least.
