As its Norman-French name suggests, the village of Grosmont has a strong Norman history and boasts a both a Norman church and Norman castle so we're hoping the rally farm, which is situated quite close to the village, will provide finds from the Norman and later medieval era. The rally will take place on Sunday, June 5th 2016 and the land available to us is pasture.

As with our last rally I'm afraid the farmer has specified that no dogs will be allowed to attend due to concerns about his livestock.

This will be a DetectingWales.com members only rally and I'm afraid everyone attending must be over 16 years of age. Usual terms and conditions apply. Everyone who attends does so at their own risk and we recommended that everyone has civil liability insurance. If you are a member of a club you will probably already have this. Please check.

I might have issues as well yet, having trouble finding a dog sitter, so might have to call off. Pity as I was really looking forward to this one as it's local and looks to be a good spot... :(
