Title: Red Storm Rising
Post by: Tafflaff (Rob) on June 23, 2009, 02:51:12 PM
My favourite book of all time.

This book is set in the height of the Cold War , Muslim extremists blow up one of Russia's biggest oil refineries, Leaving the superpower desperately short of Oil. Facing this disaster they decide to take oil by force from the Middle East, but knowing that this could only draw a military response from Nato , and the threat of all out Nuclear War the KGB set about splitting Nato as a power in Europe. Their plan is brilliant but can they outwit the West with their Mariskova (Tricks) .

Tom Clancy in renown for Technical Detail in his books and Red Storm Rising is no exception. I absolutely love this book have read it Several times and am reading it at the moment.
