Me I just stood there for minuets, just looking at it and saying over and over Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou. Must admit to feeling a bit weak at the knees though and my biggest admission was crying when I phoned John and told him. ::) ;D

The only reference I could see to the maker, D & DS was just that, no other info. other than a bracelet is recorded with those marks and dated 1978. Given the number of silversmiths there used to be in the Jewellery quarter I'm not surprised. They came and went like the rain down here. Title: Re: medi bracelet ? Post by: Chef Geoff on November 28, 2015, 07:10:52 PM Certainly an odd find as Val says I too think it's 1977 but it's not your average medi bracelet as the blood group is the second most common so nothing important there, blood group bracelets were common(ish) in WWII more so with the American forces than here in the UK, it could be worth following your "over active imagination" and trying to find out if the pilot was ex military :-\
