Met up with Lamphyman, he had,no he will tell you about his finds,only fair!! I found my first bit of silver(tested ,foil,spit,=rotten egg smell) Also a piece of broken spur(old)and another piece of bronze with a pattern !! Still getting used to the 3030 but it did pick out a blank coin, size-wise possible a George I halfpenny, It also verified dingdongs coin signal which gives me even more confidence as the field was infested with iron. Also found a few small unmarked buttons. Happy with the first outing on what was for me a new site.
