Title: a suggestion Post by: Chainsaw Bampy on August 27, 2015, 08:14:23 AM its just an idea, but wouldn,t it be a good idea for dw to donate a certain amount of money from each rally/raffles to a local charity, it would be good publicity for dw and could help and support people that need help,it would also show the world that dw is a very caring/sharing site, there are other detecting clubs that make donations this way that have a smaller amount of members,i know some people can,t afford this or make their own donations personally, obviously only the people that would want to donate could if they wanted to, i think this would be a good idea, what do you think?

One of our farmers son's was injured in an accident involving a horse and has had intensive and ongoing treatment at Birmingham children's hospital. It is to this farmer we give any money raised, he in turn sees to it that it gets to the right place. We are hoping - subject to weather that we can hold another 2 day event early October. |
