Ok, here is another rally!

We are returning to Wick in somerset Nr Brigewater.

Sunday 13th September  2015. We have between 70 and 140 of stubble and burnt off pasture.

Our last visit saw numerous hammered coins as well as 2 items of treasure found.

The meeting time will be 9.00am and the rally will start at 9.30 am. The rally will finish at 6.00pm.

This will be a DetectingWales.com members only rally and I'm afraid everyone attending must be over 16 years of age. Usual terms and conditions apply. Everyone who attends does so at their own risk and we recommended that everyone has civil liability insurance. If you are a member of a club you will probably already have this. Please check.

The location of the rally will be sent by private message to everyone who has signed up the day before the rally.

Entry is  £7 per person, pay on the day.

That will clash with the annual Spaxton rally on the same day,this year at Fiddington.also near Stogursey.Somerset.

Ahh thanks for the heads up. We have no wriggle room on the date as we have a rally the week before and the plough will be doing its job soon after.  :)

Yes these days we just blink and the fields are harvested, the straw baled and the ploughs are out turning the soil over.

I was out the other day and the thoughtful farmer was ploughing around me to give me a couple of hours tecting.

Hi guys, sorry I missed Stogursey dig. I was away! Are the digs on the website giving us much notice, as my wife works every other weekend, and we live in the bottom end of Cornwall ! We would love to attend some digs! Thanks for your help, regards, John.

we try to give members as much notice as possible for rallies but sometimes land may be available for a very short time so rallies can have only a weeks notice occasionally , hope to see you both at a rally soon  :)

Is there a report due for this rally - have only had snippets of info so far?
