Detector got sold last Thurs.  Came all the way from down south. Well happy with it.  OK I will keep untouched with the group.  For all your latest finds.

Wish you all the best. Always a sad day when you have to give up something you love doing.

Hope you get the radio you're after. It's great fun, I tried it many years ago. My Son had one. Believe it or not I had a 'handle'   'Big Momma'  I talked a driver off the M6/M5 junction one night in a blizzard.  He'd never been to the Midlands before and wanted directions to a storage facility not far from where I lived.  Lovely Lad. If I remember right it was about 2 in the morning when he finally got there save and sound.

Good luck m8; you do realise that you will suffer withdrawal symptoms without all those adrenaline shots?  ;)

Hey Val,was that in the days of the old CB radio, used to love it my handle was "ding dong"... LOL,LOL!!!!!
Or was it " short wave",posh amateur radio, got to have a transmitting licence
to do that, mind you,I wouldn't mind a go at that myself when detecting gets a bit too much😕
