Title: Time for a change. If it were your money...
Post by: Dusty on June 08, 2015, 04:09:52 PM
What would it be, Xterra 705 or a Whites M6?

Plenty of reviews for the Minelab but not much about for the Whites..? The Americans seems to like them but can't make out if there's a little bias because they are built in the states or that they are just a good machine?

Both very nice machines to use but my vote would have to go to the Xterra as I had some great finds with mine, it's lighter and you can alter the frequency if you feel inclined by changing the coil ;)

Ah yeah, didn't you have one at one time Geoff but got shot of it?

Should really have bought the 705 when Amazon had them at £393 but missed out while looking at getting the cheaper M6.

Personal recommendation is always useful when making a decission so I'll probably stick with the Minelab. Miss my Safari and the wacky sounds.

Mmmmmm, It grieves me paying that much when they've been a lot less, especially in April - missed out there  >:(

See if my bottle holds out for a cheaper price. Flubit were a waste of time, saving me a whole 1%!
