Title: Gold or No?
Post by: Resurgam on March 03, 2015, 07:32:32 PM
Recovered this little trinket from the sands at Talacre the other week. At first glance, I thought it was a lump of foil but on closer inspection I could see that it was heart shaped beneath the sand and grit. It turned out to be a gold coloured, heart shaped, locket. It has no hall mark and is none magnetic. I thought I could read 9CT stamped on the back.

Do you suppose that it could be gold?  :-\
