Title: My First Dig with Deus 3.2 & 11" Coil
Post by: Iron Giant on February 22, 2015, 02:54:27 PM
Hi Guys,

I picked up a brand new Deus with the 11" coil from Regtons last week, did some air testing at home and took it for a spin this weekend  8)

I was lucky to meet an experienced Deus user who gave me some pointers to get me started as it is a completely different machine to the one i have used for the last 2 years.

I ran it in GM Power, Sens 90 & GB tracking and had a cracking day  ;)

Below are the coins and a button found in 5 hours and they were all found on stubble between 4" - 8" down and unmistakable dig me tones despite their small size  :D

Besides the coins, i found a lead measuring weight and 4 musket balls.

Needless to say i love the machine  ;D

Thanks guys, its good to know the machine has a great reputation and a good following  ;)

Its not clear from the pic but all the roman bronze all have identifiable markings, an example of the best is on this post:

The bigger coin is a George III halfpenny, i am so looking forward to taking it out next weekend.
