Title: love token day
Post by: BugbrookeBen on October 31, 2014, 04:58:46 PM
Hi guys n girls,

today, I went out to one of my local fields in the village where i live. I was useless, there was loads of foil, bottle tops and loads of other rubbish although I found some modern pence. I moved to a much bigger field which was much better. I found a silver love token from the reign of queen Anne (1702 - 14). It is very worn and the date has gone but there was a capital A with a little star on top of it. It also has a tiny little bullet hole where someone was using it for target practice. Any ideas on what the A could be?

Ben

Well done Ben, a photo might get you a better response as it's difficult to picture what you mean  ;)
