Title: How is this possible?
Post by: Dusty on October 20, 2014, 09:53:10 PM
After a trip to a friend of the BIL with a test bed I was introduced to a detector that pretty much made my F75 look silly and was left wondering really!?!

Didn't look anything special (no screen  :o  ) must be clocking 20 years + and fished out stuff my F75 couldn't manage. I'm almost convinced it's either a wind up or my machine is pretty sick  ::)

Not going to cock about but who wants to take a quick guess what machine it was. If I'm not having my chain pulled the poor soul who made them must have been onto something big time! If there wasn't the problem with servicing cash would have been falling out my wallet for sure!

Dear me Geoff. I had you pegged as the one that would have nailed this particular 'guess the machine' post..

Clue in the last paragraph  ;)

I'll spill in the morning.... you'll go 'Ah, that one'

No You've got me? I can't think which non meter machines from the 90's are no longer in business.

The one from Staffordshire MD? Had my eye on that myself  :D

Had the CZ5 a while back, found the goodies I just didn't gel with it.

Geoff. They might have been trading in the 80's? I think the model I tried was the last model and is 20+ old.

Info is pretty scarce which saved my wallet getting hammered!
