geoff was saying i would lose depth on small finds with the 13" but was wondering about the 11" as i am used to covering large areas im assuming from what geoff was saying the smaller the coil the better it would be for picking out the smaller bits like cut quarters at depth

I have the 9" & 11". The 11" goes about an inch deeper than the 9". And the weight difference is only 1.6 ounces..so I would go for the 11" its well balanced , unlike the 11 x13

Adrian an inch deeper on what target? David nothing will find cut quarters "at depth" outside of a Pi machine.
