By the time I'd walked the dogs and done a couple of jobs my legs and arms were screaming at me. I sat down for a bite and cuppa mid-day and virtually passed out. Post by: Chef Geoff on September 17, 2014, 03:28:13 PM Lovely find Doug and I think your spot on with what it depicts, the lion seems to have wings as does the Lion of St Mark and as he was an evangelist I think it represents Christianity conquering paganism which is usually represented by the dragon ;)
