Title: Sunday's Gold.
Post by: 1morecoin on November 24, 2008, 04:17:38 PM
I knew that would get people looking :)

Well it is Gold and it is made up of six rings, but i am not sure of its age, i think they call them puzzle rings, four inches down in pasture, so probably modern.

I think i will have it melted down and made into a decent ring for the wife, she's happy i am happy ;)

Thats different - 1morecoin! Any hallmarks on it to help age, etc?

I have seen Victorian ones before, so it might be a tad older than you think.

Well found
Neil

Originally it would have fitted together, but some of the links were squashed when i found it so there is very little chance of that now, as for a hallmark i have not got a magnifying glass to look at the moment but will be checking this out soon.

Steve.
