Title: Celtic Metal Detectors.A Welsh Detector Manufacture Are they still about ?
Post by: PHIL YNYSBOETH on November 21, 2008, 12:41:30 PM
Hi all

I was having a look through last months Treasure hunting and i came across a peice about a man whos been making his own Detectors with some degree of success.

This got my very money grabbing brain thinking ! "could there be money made doing this"
If Charles Garrett can do it so can i  lol  :P
After a quick google search i came across a couple of sites offering tips componants and plans for making your own Detectors and Pin pointers i thought better of the idea so its another thing to add to my very long Todo list lol
I was also reminded of a Welsh Detector manufacture from Dolgellau id read about Treasure Hunting  September 05
Im not sure if they are still about the Web address Celticmd.co.uk doesnt work so i Guess not  :(
Maybe someone bought one or know a bit more about this Company
Below is the field test Treasure Hunting Sept 2005
