Cheers Alan, I was just wondering what age it might by? The link between the two loops on the buttons remind me of the handles off the 18th century seal matrix (same style)  The earlier cufflinks just tend to have a plain loop, it may just pre date hallmarks?

Hi Dale

i think we are all in agreement with the dating of this. its certainly got a georgian style to the linkage.

cheers
