HI Mike,  nice to meet you too mate, i was still finding them everywhere after you'd left,  well done on the pendant too,
just going to try and post em,  can't stop lonmg  the kids are out in the pool,
rememeber we were saying about the towels,  before i went a couple of blokes came down the beach with a linen basket collecting them all up,   tee tee
i wonder if they belonged to germans leaving them there till next morning lol.
 here we go then Mike,

we couldn't get on the beach till 6.45 cos it was packed,,  i started good straight away and rushed around for just over 2 hrs,   i couldn't stop late as i had to get back, cook some food and off to bed ready for the grandkids this morning,

i found just over £24, and some jewelry,  includes, 15 chubbies, 2 x £2 coins, and 4 x 50's,   And as a bonus, i found 2 new buckets and two dinkey cars for my grandsons  lol
Al.

Yes it was all on the dry sand hedgehog.  Mike saw a lot of it, i hardly stopped digging,  i was like that rake that goes through on the back of a tractor in the mornings,  lol.
I was looking through the coins earlier.  i also had a nice 1950 shilling there,

i love evenings like that,  much better than cooking up in a field in this sun on a bad day hey,
Alan

Wasn't me Al, but we were at Rest Bay on Saturday (not detecting) and also went down to Porthcawl this evening for a walk along the beach. No-one detecting there which surprised me.
