dont know what its made of as its that roman grot colour ,its very thin. was very hard to take picture of but the photo shows what i can make out which is a large crown a head and a large bib/cloak anyone know what it is and what the coin is likely to be made of as if its copper ill leave as it is if its silver i can baking soda and foil it . coin is 15mm exactly in diameter. That coin of yours looks like a hammered. From looking at that large crown - it may be a Henry VII Groat. Does it have a large Shield on the reverse of the coin? Go careful with the cleaning, you don't want to ruin it. Regards Titus Pullo |
