Title: New fields Post by: Bling (mark) on April 16, 2014, 05:01:55 PM New permission this week lovely size farm stopped to ask for permission farmer was out of tractor checking fences perfect timing.funny thing is farmer scrunched up face and informed me he has never let anyone detect any fields and never will rather than walk off i asked if he new of any other local farmers i could visit as i didn't know many as i haven't lived in this village very long i slipped into conversation the village i came from around six miles away .before i walked away the farmer asked my surname worked out he new my mother (barmaid) in local pub and my mother used to answer the phone to his wife and hide him if she turned up every Friday and deny he was ever there good old days he smiled and granted me permission as he believed he owed my family happy days.
