Title: paid £20 for new pinpointer to be delivered tomorrow :( Post by: chantalpoole on April 04, 2014, 06:16:16 PM paid £20 for next day sat delivery from big uk detecting shop total cost £109 so i could have pinpointer in time for this weekend what with the rally.I was assured it would arrive tomorrow by the woman in the shop .i then got a text from shop a few hours later which says delivery 7th april (monday) and a consignment number
i am very sad and confused no pinpointer for me this weekend and £20 postage costs bill........... what would you do ?? ps im going to get my other one repaired and then keep it as a spare. wasnt regtons fault it was the delivery company interlink. they sent the wrong delivery date and not only that they delivered it at 9am when i was still in bed and faked my signature and left it in my green storage box (i use for my bin bags to stop foxes and magpies ripping my bin bags up )next to the house which is full of my 1 week ripe bin bags !! dispite the rather smelly box i am thrilled its arrived in time for tomorrow ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ps regtons were great when i rang them this morning !! i Title: Re: paid £20 for new pinpointer to be delivered tomorrow :( Post by: Dungbeetle on April 05, 2014, 09:49:48 AM Nice result, hope you do well on Sunday. Read what you said about strange roads. Got to admit I'm the same. To think I once used to drive through the centre of B'Ham to get to work. When my employers moved to Redditch I had to have 3 trial runs with John before I went on my own. I got there O.K. but on the way back I ended up heading for Stratford, opposite direction. Cars and lorries coming from all directions. What made B'Ham easier. No one was going anywhere, there were that many of them they only moved a foot a minute.
It was a case of 'I dare you to move another foot before I do' which you had to ignore till you just got your nose in front and stopped any one else from moving. The bumps were always gentle. :o ::) Val |
