Title: RIP John Bowen Post by: The Doc on March 26, 2014, 07:33:09 PM Cardiff Scan Club's former secretary Ken Watson contacted me today to inform me of the passing of John Bowen after a long illness. John was 83.
John was our Press Officer for a number of years but illness meant that he had to give up detecting and was cared for at home by his wife Joyce. John's funeral will be at Thornhill Crematorium at 1.15 pm on Wednesday 16th April, and afterwards at New House Country Hotel, Thornhill. All of John's former detecting friends are welcome. I don't have details of whether flowers or donations are requested as yet, but will post here when I have details. Condolences to Joyce and all of John's family.
