used to detect with out one , then tried the plastic sand scoop , and then got a pointer it makes it so much easier and more enjoyable detecting. Title: Re: Detector probes. Didnt think they would be so expensive to be honest,so second hand shouldn't be sniffed at. If i have the garret 150, it would hurt if i dont get the matching probe and hat hahaha...you can get garret caps ive seen them lol. Title: Re: Detector probes. Post by: TheLoveDoc on February 18, 2014, 07:31:24 AM Ive used a few different ones since I started detecting and even used a security wand which didn't last long once the moisture and sand got inside ::) I got the Garret probe eventually and have to say its worth every penny.... best Ive used by miles ;)
