There's a post about blisstool not having a distribitor in the U.K now and you would have to send a money transfer to buy them from Bulgeria. Can't be doing well in this country not to have any distribitors :P :-[

there is a distriber with exclusive rights on them, called daryn an has you tube vids about them.

"Blisstool UK is no more" that's what their website says!

"Blisstool UK is no more" that's what their website says!

I spotted that a few days back.

I purchased a used one last year and it had 2 previous owners in only a few months.

Not a machine for yours truly and the UK spares/service could have been better.

The rest is up to any prospective  purchaser. ;)  Jerry.

Strange  ??? Daryn the sole uk distributor for Blisstool, gave us a demonstration and talk in
the Swansea club a few weeks ago.

A few days after Daryn gave his talk, he had to go into the Heath in Cardiff to have another vein in his brain crimped because of a possibility of having another aneurysm.
The first one was just last year. He's been very lucky to have had symptoms that were investigated before a major bleed.

there is now a charge of £10 per year to be on the blisstool forums

Title: Re: blisstool

That gives you access to all the Blisstool vids that Daryn paid for out of his own pocket, and all the technical information
and control settings that's been collated over the last two years. I believe there's also going to be exclusive rallies arranged, specifically
for users of the machine. Everything depends on Daryn's health of course but he seems to be getting back to his old self slowly.

What part of the world you living Al. If your near one of existing users, perhaps they'd be willing to walk you through the first usage
as it not like any other detector out there. Watch some of the vids and DO NOT try to run her too hot until you get to grips with
the way she responds. otherwise you'll find her very 'sparky'. Zero gain, will still give you 10 to 11 inches. Plenty to be getting on with
I'm sure.

Have you joined the Blisstool Forum? Once a member you can access all the database plus ask for any possible help in the area.
I'll pop on there shortly and ask if there's anybody close to you who can show you the ropes. Failing that, I live near Swansea and could perhaps meet you somewhere close to where I have permission's to get you started.

Staffordshire detectors have a few Blisstools for sale, I'd take Mike up on his offer of help as he's
got a good knowledge of this machine. When Daryn gave us a demonstration of the Blisstool although it did some amazing things ,I found the setup procedure very complicated, so many knobs,

There is only one Blisstool Forum Al. That's where the most knowledgable people with years of experience in handling the Bliss can be found.

is it correct that they need adjusting all the time or once its set up it will be ok.

Total rubbish.
You have to ground balance the same as any other machine but once that's done you can run at a slight threshold or even silent if that's what you prefer.
As I've already mentioned Al. There is only one forum for Blisstool information and expertise. Daryn (who runs that forum) is probably the best source of information
and technical knowledge outside of Bulgaria and he's based right here in Cardiff.

Is there much difference in depth between the 11'' and the 15" coil.
Al

Title: Re: blisstool
Post by: ysbytymike on February 25, 2014, 11:02:49 AM
You get a few inches more depth with the 15" but its also a little bit more 'sparky', than the 11", so needs to be worked with more care.

Personally, I always use the 11inch. Apart from the damage to my shoulder (few ounces lighter) I like the way the 11inch handles targets.
You sort of get a feeling for a bit of kit that you just can't put your finger on, but your comfortable using it and it gets results.
The Bliss is not for everyone Al. For those who like tones as their primary source of signal, its a fab machine. Yes, if you don't set it up right
it can be a very difficult machine to control, but all machines are like that. You have to understand how to set them up.
